Refund Policy

Last updated: December 2025

Neuromade is an online marketplace where independent creators (“Sellers”) sell their products directly to customers (“Buyers”). This Refund Policy explains how refunds and returns are handled on the Platform.

1. General policy

  • Neuromade and Sellers generally operate on a no refunds and no returns basis for change‑of‑mind purchases.

  • This means that if you simply change your mind, order the wrong item, or decide you no longer want the item, a refund or return is not guaranteed.

  • However, refunds, replacements, or other remedies may still be required where consumer protection laws apply (for example, where an item is faulty, unsafe, or not as described).

2. Items that are typically non‑refundable

Because many items sold through Neuromade are handmade, custom, or perishable, they are usually not eligible for return or refund unless required by law. This typically includes:

  • Custom or personalized items made specifically for you.

  • Perishable items such as baked goods, food products, or items with a short shelf life.

  • Digital products that have been downloaded or accessed.

Sellers may choose to offer more generous policies at their own discretion, but are not required to do so except where the law requires.

3. Items that may qualify for a refund or replacement

Subject to applicable laws, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or partial credit where:

  • The item arrives damaged or defective.

  • The item is significantly not as described in the listing (for example, wrong item, major differences from photos or description).

  • The Seller fails to dispatch the item within a reasonable time and does not respond to communication.

In these cases, you should contact Neuromade officials, within a reasonable time of receiving (or expected to receive) the item, and provide clear details and photos where possible.

4. How to request a refund or raise an issue

If you believe you are entitled to a refund or replacement:

  1. Contact the Neuromade officials directly through the Platform with:

    • Your order number.

    • A description of the issue.

    • Photos, if relevant (for damage, defects, or incorrect items).

  2. Allow the Neuromade officials a reasonable amount of time to respond and propose a resolution.

If you and the Seller cannot resolve the issue, you may contact Neuromade at neuromadeofficial@gmail.com with your order details. Neuromade may, at its discretion, review the situation and suggest next steps, but cannot guarantee a particular outcome.

5. Shipping costs and returns (if a return is accepted)

If a Seller agrees (or is required by law) to accept a return:

  • The Seller will confirm how and where to return the item.

  • Responsibility for return shipping costs will depend on the situation and applicable law (for example, who is at fault and local consumer rules).

  • Items should be returned in the condition agreed with the Seller.

Refunds, if approved, are usually processed back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on payment provider and bank.

6. Legal rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under Canadian consumer protection laws or the laws of your province or territory. Where those laws provide you with mandatory rights or remedies, they will apply even if they are not specifically mentioned here.
